The Transport Museum at Coventry reopened in early 2004 after a £7.5 million revamp that took four years.The museum displays more than 500 cars, motorcycles and bicycles and even a few skateboards.
Visitors can take a virtual reality ride in the cockpit of the Thrust SSC as it breaks the sound barrier. The Land Speed Record holder, together with Thrust 2, is one of the museums most popular exhibits.
