Experiencing time travel!

As a teenager I drooled over those wonderful classic sports cars - MGB, TR4A, Triumph Stag, TR6, Austin Healey, Jaguar E Type - What were they like to drive?  Since I discovered The Open Road I know what its like!  First my own favorite, the Triumph TR4A - What a fantastic, thrilling, terrifying trip back in time!

It looks absolutely beautiful; it drives like a beast and it turns heads everywhere you go, but mostly the feeling you get from walking towards it with the keys in your hands and about to drive off, is wonderful.  You've just joined a special club.  You know how it feels to drive a TR4A! 

It's such a physical experience, I was whooping with joy - once I'd got over the terror!  They are a lot different - no power assisted steering or brakes- but what a rush! 

Next it was the Triumph Stag - such a joy - open top, V8 engine burbling along through Cheddar Gorge, wind in my hair, was unforgettable!  Next in line is the TR6 which will make three I've bagged in two months!  Top down, fantastic experience.  I'm working up to the Austin Healey and ultimately the E Type, but that will be a special birthday treat!  These cars bring back the fun to driving !

So to the details - its easy to book, either on line or by phone.  Its easy to collect, just off the M40 motorway.  Tony gives you a full explanation of how the car works, and you get a full written pack with everything you could possibly need to know.  It really couldn't be easier.

You only need yourself, preferably a partner to enjoy it with, and you can even book a picnic from Tony as well.  Any problems ? - well you need to remember that you're driving an old car so you have to think about braking, gear changing and steering in a different way. 

Otherwise - its just fun fun fun!  You can take a car for the day or for two, three days or a week.  And in case you're wondering, I'm just a very satisfied customer, nothing to do with the business.  Try it, you'll see why I'm so enthusiastic!  It's The Open Road for me !
