Picnic Hampers
The Open Road is based near the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, with its vast array of attractions including three theatres, the Shakespeare properties and plenty of interesting shops.
This part of South Warwickshire and The Cotswolds provides some excellent driving country (see the Leisure Drives section for some suggested routes) and some fantastic locations that are ideal for a picnic, weather permitting.
To complement your day out why not take advantage of our picnic hampers. Your picnic will be provided in a stylish wicker hamper and you will find a waterproof rug in the car to make your lunch as pleasant as your drive.
If the weather is forecast to be unusually hot then we may pack your picnic in cool bags, rather than a wicker hamper, to ensure the food is kept at its best.
Picnics are available from £12 per person up to £20.
We are happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, either because of a food allergy or on religious grounds. Let us know if you are gluten intolerant, vegetarian, don't eat pork etc, or just the fact that you don't like mayonnaise.
Our picnics are prepared in a kitchen where nuts and nut products are used, so we may not be able to cater for anyone with a nut allergy. If in doubt please ring to discuss.
We do not provide alcohol for obvious reasons so please don't be offended if we decline a request for a champagne hamper.
