The Open Road's Triumph Stag outside the Three Ways House Hotel in Mickleton
The Open Road's Triumph Stag outside the Three Ways House Hotel in Mickleton
4th March 2002

Billed as the perfect Mother's Day gift, the programme clip was centered on a trip to the Cotswolds, taking in Broadway Tower, Mickleton, Chipping Campden and some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.

The Three Ways House Hotel in Mickleton was home to a real chocoholics experience where you can even stay in a room named after your favourite pudding.  Jayne's favourite being the 'sticky toffee and date pudding themed room' complete with painting of a Bedouin holding up the recipe for sticky toffee and date pudding.

The dinner menu included:

* Asparagus with white chocolate sauce

* Chicken with a dark chocolate sauce

* The famous 'Pudding Club' included a pudding parade where diners sample seven different puddings.

She continued into Chipping Campden for a pint of locally brewed Cotswold Way beer in the Volunteer.

Other girlie bits on the trip included a visit to the Perfumery in Bourton on the Water, and Stratford upon Avon racecourse.

She ends the programme saying the Cotswolds is "much more beautiful than she thought it would be"  - quiet, peaceful and the perfect place to visit.
