June 2003
The June 2003 issue of MG World Magazine ran a five page article on hiring an MG.  At that time The Open Road had two MGs for hire, a 1969 MGB Roadster which is still on our fleet and a 1993 MG RV8 which we have since sold.

Fancy a classic MG but worried about spending out on something that might not really be for you?  Or perhaps you'd like an MG, but not for keeps.  The answer's simple - hire one for a few days.

Elaine and Tony Merrygold, the brains behind Warwick based The Open Road Classic Car Hire, are in the business for just that purpose - renting out a small fleet of British sports cars.  Currently they run an MGB and RV8, along with several Triumphs and an EType Jaguar.  Nor surprisingly the MGB - a lovely red 1969 Roadster is in demand.........
