 BBC Homes & Antiques featured our Austin Healey 3000 on the cover as a perfect summer picnic theme. July 2009  BBC
Homes & Antiques magazine wanted a suitable open top period car to use for
the front cover of their July 2009 edition to illustrate a perfect summer picnic
theme.
They chose our Austin Healey 3000 at a fantastic location down by the river near Henley on Thames. |

 Keys to the Castle. - Our MGB Roadster added a period flavour to an American TV programme. Summer 2006  Our
MGB Roadster was used to add a period flavour to the filming of an American TV
programme - Keys to the Castle. The
actor concerned was non other than John Barrowman, who is now famous as the
swash-buckling American airman Jack Harkness in the BBC TV series - Dr
Who and Torchwood. Just like the Tardis our MGB can take you back in
time. |
 Car Magazine compared our 1966 Ford Mustang with a 2004 Mustang July 2006  Following
the success of the new Ford Mustang launched in 2004, Car Magazine decided to
run a comparison of the new v the old and used our 1966 Ford Mustang for the
purpose.

 Classics Monthly - our Austin Healey 3000 was featured in the June 2006 issue. June 2006  Mark
Robinson of Classics Monthly Magazine took our Austin
Healey out for a day for a photo shoot and wrote up an excellent article in
the June 2006 issue, on both our Austin
Healey and the delights of touring around South Warwickshire and The
Cotswolds. |
 June 2006 - Channel 7 Australia, Great Outdoors used our Austin Healey 3000 at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons  Channel
7, Australia used our Austin
Healey for another of their 'The Great Outdoors' programmes.
This time the stakes were a bit higher. The programme featured one of the best restaurants in the country - Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons near Oxford. The producers chose our Austin Healey 3000 as the perfect accompaniment. |

BBC 1 programme Love Me Love My Kids featured our Triumph TR6 as the bait on a final date 10th May 2005  Our
Triumph TR6 was seen on TV on 10th May 2005 in the BBC 1
programme Love Me Love My Kids.
The programme, made by award winning programme makers, RDF Media featured a single father's search for a new girlfriend. The twist in the programme was that he didn't choose his dates, his children chose two girl friends for him. One of them took him out in our Triumph TR6 on the final date. |

 Times - Steve Keenan uses our Jaguar E-Type Coupe for the weekend 7th February 2004 Steve

Algemeen Dagblad - one of the main Dutch national newspapers - ran a feature on The Open Road 11 August 2004  The following article, written in Dutch by freelance Journalist Dick Schornagel, appeared in one of the main Dutch national newspapers - Algemeen Dagblad on 11 August 2004.

 General Motors Press Event - Pontiac Solstice February 2004 The Open Road together with The Grand Touring Club in Suffolk, recently contracted to assist General Motors (Detroit) by providing some classic English sports cars as references for the GM engineers to offer to a select group of the top American motoring writers, alongside a new GM model, the Pontiac Solstice, due to be launched in 18 months time. |
 Hampshire Society - Touring the Bard's Country in a Triumph TR7 December 2003 Anne Dickie of Hampshire Society spent a weekend touring the less obvious attractions that Shakespeare country has to offer, in a natty green car (our Triumph TR7).

 MG World - Five page Feature on The Open Road - Hiring an MG June 2003  The
June 2003 issue of MG World Magazine ran a five page article on hiring an
MG.
At that time The Open Road had two MGs for hire, a 1969 MGB Roadster which is still on our fleet and a 1993 MG RV8 which we have since sold. |
 Channel 7 Australia, Great Outdoors used our Triumph TR7 in June 2003  Channel
7, Australia, picked our Triumph TR7 to be used in their holiday programme, The
Great Outdoors.
The producers made a film about touring The Cotswolds and decided that the best way to convey the full British atmosphere was to feature one of our open top British sports cars.
They picked our slightly unusual bright green Triumph TR7 for the job. |
 BBC Holiday 2002 - Jayne Middlemiss takes our Stag around The Cotswolds 4th March 2002 The
BBC Holiday Programme is renowned for presenting unusual ideas for holidays both
abroad and at home in the UK. The 4th March 2002 programme included a
'mother's day treat' with Jayne Middlemiss taking our Triumph Stag for a
'chocoholic' tour around The Cotswolds. |
 BBC Home Front Inside Out used The Open Road's Triumph TR4A to add a period feel to a programme set in The Cotswolds 28th November 2000 Those
of you who are avid viewers of the gardening and DIY programmes may
have seen The Open Road's Triumph TR4a driven by Diarmuid Gavin and
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen for one of the Autumn 2000 series of Home Front Inside
Out, filmed around the Cotswold villages near Banbury. |
