The Lady Godiva Half Marathon took place for the first time on Sunday 25 September 2005 and attracted thousands of participants from Coventry and beyond. In addition to the 13.1 mile race there were adult, junior and children's fun runs and opportunities for wheelchair users to take part in all events.

The Lady Godiva Half Marathon was created to encourage people to take the important first steps towards a more active lifestyle. Entrants in both the half marathon and fun runs had the option to walk, jog or run, making it an event for absolutely everyone! We hope all participants had a great day and look forward to supporting the event again in 2006.
