The Open Road Classic Car Hire Fleet

A completely rebuilt example of the iconic Jaguar E-Type convertible, resplendent in Carmen Red with black upholstery piped in red.
A beautiful example of a late Series II Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe. Owned by us for ten years and re-sprayed in 2007 at which time the bonnet was re-built with new panels. Interior in black leather.
A beautiful example of the 'Big Healey' a 3000 Sports Convertible (MkIIA) complete with wind-up windows and easily erect-able hood. This car was fully restored in 1991/2 and recently re-commissioned. The body is in Sapphire Blue over Silver and the interior is in pale blue leather with contrasting dark blue piping.
A 1961 Jaguar Mk II 3.8 Saloon which has spent most of its life in New Zealand. It has more wood veneer and leather than the average drawing room.
This 1969 MGB Roadster is a MkII chrome bumper version having the later gearbox which includes synchro on first gear. It has overdrive on third and fourth gears and the light clutch and gear change make it the easiest drive in our fleet.
This 1973 four seater Triumph Stag is one of the 25% of Stags that were fitted with a manual gearbox with overdrive. It is the only classic on our fleet that has power steering and electric windows. But then it was the top of the Triumph range in its day.
A fantastic, concours winning, Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 34 'Razoredge' in a stunning orange and blue colour scheme with orange and black leather seats.
We are only the second owners of this wonderful 1967 Triumph TR4A. We had it re-painted and re-furbished over the Winter of 2004/5 and it is in excellent condition. While the drive is a little 'agricultural' it is extremely comfortable and the Surrey Top makes it a great touring car.
This is a superb example of a 1974 Triumph TR6 in Mimosa Yellow with a brown interior. The later 125 bhp engine means the power delivery is very smooth. We have uprated the brakes and the suspension and this car has taken us across Europe on five separate Euro Classic car runs.
This is our first entry into the American Car hire marketplace. A beautiful example of the iconic 1966 Ford Mustang 289 Fastback. True to most American cars of its time, it has an automatic gearbox and is Left Hand Drive (LHD). There is a certain amount of irony here as we started the business expecting to rent British classics to American visitors. Now we are hiring an American classic car to British customers.
Choose from our selection of vintage classic, British, sports cars: 1963 Austin Healey 3000 MkIIa, 1970 Jaguar E-type Roadster (convertible), 1961 Jaguar Mark II saloon, 1969 MG MGB Roadster, 1974 Triumph Stag, 1967 Triumph TR4A, 1973 Triumph TR6.
Treat yourself to an unforgettable day out or a weekend break in the Heart of England, driving around Shakespeare Country and The Cotswolds.  Tour this unique part of the country with its host of scenic and historic attractions, including stately homes, the castles of Kenilworth and Warwick and the wonderful stone villages of The Cotswolds - one of the most picturesque areas of Britain.

In April 2006 we added our first non British classic to our hire fleet.  As always driven by customer demand we are now pleased to offer one the most iconic American sports cars - a 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback.  Then at the end of 2008 we added our first German car, a 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Razoredge.

We are ideally situated to rent a classic car, right in the Heart of England  in Warwickshire, minutes from Historic Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.  We are just 10 miles from that mecca for classic car enthusiasts, The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon and only 15 miles from the recently re-furbished Coventry Transport Museum.

We are less than a mile from Junction 15 of the M40, only 30 minutes from Birmingham Airport and about 1½ hours from the West of London by road or rail. Trains run from London Marylebone Station to Warwick Parkway Station throughout the day. We will collect from Warwick Parkway, Leamington Spa or Stratford-upon-Avon stations in either our Triumph Stag or Jaguar Mark 2, at no charge.

Depending on workload, we may be able to deliver our classic cars to hotels in the Leamington Spa, Warwick or Stratford areas at no cost. We may be able to deliver further afield, subject to availability, but we make a charge of £2 per mile. Long distance deliveries can work out expensive so we normally recommend that you use your money to treat yourself to a weekend away in one of the local hotels or B&Bs, rather than wasting it on delivery.

We provide personalised classic car hire gift vouchers as well as a number of gifts or books to accompany the vouchers. Because we produce the gift vouchers individually we can make them out to say whatever our customers want.  Not only do we include the recipient's name and appropriate date but you can choose the wording.

So whether you want a 'Classic Jaguar Weekend', 'Classic Car Touring Holiday', or just to say 'Happy Birthday Dad', come up with your own wording anThis is one of the Haynes Great Cars series - written by Nigel Thorley and published in 2001 to co-incide with the 40th anniversary of the launch of the E-Type. d contact us. All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date printed on them (not the date we supply the gift voucher).

If you think an envelope containing a voucher won't make much of a present, then why not give him/her a book on their favourite classic car, with the gift voucher inside as a bookmark.
